Life is a journey, and wherever it takes us, it’s nice to have a place to call home. 5535 IPA is our beer version of home, named after our starting and ending point – our brewery address. 5535 pays homage to West Coast style IPAs by using tropical fruit-forward Mosaic hops in balance with the classic citrus punch of Citra and Amarillo hops. In staying true to our roots, the malt bill features a bit more oomph to complement the large hopping schedule, and pours a rich amber into the glass. Wherever you wind up, we invite you to call 5535 IPA home with all of us!

12 fl oz can from an Odyssey variety box:
IPA brewed with Mosaic and Cascade hops. 6.5% ABV.
Mellow but unremarkable. Neither Mosaic nor Cascade stand out (nor is either well showcased) and it has an airy mouthfeel betraying an overly light body.
Drinkable to its credit, but it will get buried amongst the myriad of superior beers in the oversaturated style - and frankly, it deserves to.

12 oz can. Pours hazy dark golden orange with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is bready malts with peppery resiny hops and some metallic alcohol.
The flavor is sweet creamy vegetal malts with some fruit and a resiny piney hop bitterness with some harsh alcohol notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, kind of harsh with some off notes.
