Appearance: cloudy with a pale light orange colour. No floating yeast. The head is white, moussy and substantial. It seldom persists and when it goes away it leaves very little lacing behind.
Aroma: fruity nose with banana and some citrus notes.
Taste: cloves, a little bit of spices and sweet malts.
Mouthfeel: smooth, low carbonation, average alcoholic strength (5.4% ABV) and medium body.
Finish: medium length slightly bitter finish.
Overall: Nice beer but not inspiring. Somewhat watery. Very refreshing though.

Quite intense orange color, very hazy. White head, creamy, beautiful.
Classic smell: banana, yeast, cloves. Balanced.
Same for the taste, that is quite light. The classic notes, maybe just a bit more banana. Anyway, balance here again.
Same for the aftertaste. Light notes of hop.
Decent. Nothing to remember.

Orange tinged cloudy beer with a perfect white head and exuberant carbonation.
Classic weizen aromas of cloves wheat and yeastwith a hint of bubble gum.
There are some characteristic wheat flavours here although they are a little uniform .It doesnt vary throughout the palate very much.
The cloves become more obvious as the beer warms a little and it does finish sweet.
Another very drinkable weizen although i am beginning to suspect that most of them are prettty good

Got this beer direct from Germany, which may not sound like a big deal. But, tha fact that it's in date, and in good - non light struck condition, is awesome for a boy Down Under. It was bought over by a friend of my girlfriend.
Anyways... poured a pale yellow orange into the glass, clouded by a great yeast sediment, topped with a huge fluffy white head, that lasts and lasts. Smelled of banana, cloves, vanilla, peaches, yeast, and a slight hop character as it warmed.
Tasted magnificent! Wheaty, yeasty, smooth and creamy. A lingering easy bitterness, and a persistant ache for me wanting more.
Sadly, I only got 1 bottle, which I happily shared, and then no more....

My bottle looks just like the picture. Purity law applies. Best before 01/05, I opened it on 9/29/04.
Pours a good-looking hazy yellow-gold under a 1.5 finger white head with nice contour and great staying power. Just a few spots of lace dot the glass, however. The nose is subdued, but features all the spice and grain one could want. The mouth is a bit flat and slightly syrupy. The taste is about as expected - a standard example of a Hefeweizen. There's wheaty malt, citrus lemon, coriander and clove, blended smoothly if uninterestingly into an utterly drinkable brew.

A huge dense hend on a pale golden opaque color. The smell is of wheat and yeast, with a sweet ctitric aspect, but also with something nasty that I can’t define. The sweet banana aspect is only slightly noticeable in the taste. Predominantly wheat, citrus and yeast. The hoppiness is more noticeable than in other hefe weizen, but doesn’t really add any interesting flavor. The mouthfeel, hoppier, is drier than for other beers of the style I’ve had. A decent hefe weizen, nothing more.
