I was pretty impressed with their pislner, despite the rather angry man on the label. So even though I don't usually like wheat beers, I wanted to try this!
First impressions...amazing and smooth head. Mostly small bubbles and pure white. Glowing beer.
Aroma is a little musky and bananaey. Alcohol is kind of prominent too and not hidden.
Lots of hops extract in the flavour. Balances the banana taste really well. Mega smooth and great hoppiness in the aftertaste as it swirls around the mouth. A little sweet. Some cloves. I really hate banana in beer so ya, it won't get an amazing rating.
More hops than most weissbiers. A little thin mouth feel but I like the banana sweetness and hops contrast.
Very good, just not amazing. For a wheat beer it needs a bit more smoothness and fullness.
