Re-review as I am bored. Hops extract as opposed to actual hops, in my opinion it therefore fails the German purity law, I don't care what the law is. Man on the can doesn't look very friendly. Plus it says "Premium High Quality" which is never a good sign.

Quite a pale colour though pretty good head, though a little watery looking. Musky aroma.

Tastes a little like the aroma but the hops extract comes through in the taste, as opposed to in the aroma. Quite a pruney datey flavour. Very pruney datey flavour. Reminds me a little of some budget German pilsners such as DAB and others. This is also budget, but only a tiny bit more expensive than mega budget local beers. So it's very good value.

Fairly thin mouth feel with some impressive flavour sensations happening with bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall the best thing is the flavour. It's surprisingly complex despite using only hops extract...still I much prefer Radeberger, Konig and probably Krombacher. Though this is kind of more light and refreshing than all of them. And it has the distinct German pils taste. In addition to the dates/prunes I am detecting some banana skin and light pure malt. This seems to be rather unknown, considering the number of reviews here. Maybe the man on the can scares everyone away, perhaps their marketing manager should create a new logo. Or perhaps the scary man is the marketing manager. Or the creator. Who knows.

Anyway an impressive, great value mega refreshing pilsner that I would happily drink again many times. Taste relative to price is seriously impressive.
