Dry-hopped pale with fir and orange.
Pours a glowing golden straw hue with a soft haze and a frothy head from the additions of flaked wheat. Aromas of tropical fruit, grapefruit, dank evergreen. Tastes of citrus fruit, tangerine, mango and raspberry. Finishes dry and crisp with lingering notes of tropical fruit and resin.

love seeing their beer in cans, have bought all i have encountered in the wild i think, was stoked for this one, a pale wheat type with fir and orange, unique concept and a pretty unique beer in the glass too, although not exactly what i was anticipating. the pour is orange tinted, lightly frosted looking, with a fast rising inch of tiny bubbles collecting on the surface, real active and attractive. the nose on this is somewhat subtle, expected way more from the fir, but its the citrusy dry hopping and the orange that come through the most, a little sweet to me, especially with the fuller wheat at the core of this, only lightly herbal from the fir, not woodsy or piney really, some honey sweetness running through it. the flavor is cool, orange and lightly nutty wheat forward, less hops and fir than expected (and hoped for), this ends up more in the wheat than pale ale category to me. i like how bubbly it is, peppy and likely can conditioned, creamy too from the wheat, gorgeous texture. a little residual sweetness, less rustic or wild on the ferment than most of their other beers but not totally neutral either, and i like the little twang in here, it highlights the orange really well. the fir comes on a little more as this warms, but its mild as can be, lost a little to the grain and the fruit, but still neat, especially with the modern dry hop this hits with. light white wine, tangerine, and a soft almost saison ester to close, clever and crushable.
