From bottle, pours hazey brown with a tan head that disapates to a very small ring around the glass. Aroma coffee, chocolate, roasty, malty. Taste follows the nose, very nice worth a try.

330ml bottle into half pint
L- very dark brown - almost black, off white fizzy head, 1cm thick, no sediment
S - roasted malts, coffee, almonds with strong sweet smell - part vanilla, part bourbon
T - sweet roasted taste, like a milk stout, with an earthy nutty backdrop (chestnuts), also instant coffee with fruity hops coming in and out.
F - slightly watery for a stout, more carbonated than expected, oily texture with dry and bitter finish
O - hoppier and sweeter than an average stout, i would rate this as a session beer. More of a stout to be enjoyed after dinner.
