CAN
Creme fluffy head over lively amber. 4
Orange jellies, oily leaf, plus some grain sack. 4
Thread of toffee, Tang (powdery, fizzy orange), slight apricot and soft evergreen end. 4
Light, fizzy, oily. 3.75

Juicy almost to a fault - the Amarillo-esque fest + the body is making this drink like Fanta. If that makes it sessionable, then I guess it does the job. From Cornwall; I could see this as a surfing beer. I don’t especially want to stay on it, though.
And how is the 6-pointed star logo not getting C&D letters from Dark Star’s lawyers? 3.75

Canned
Pours an amber body with marmalade hues with big foaming white head that retreats but pretty much covers the surface
Sulphurous edge on the grapefruit aroma
That's in the flavour but has a nice malt backbone

Marmalade orange in colour. Thin head with good retention.
Malt and green hops aroma.
Light bitter and mild astringency. Grass and bread dough.
Reasonable carbonation with low to medium body expected from a session beer.

Pours clear pale amber; white head is frothy, one finger high and creamy.

Nose is slightly soapy, lemon grass, vegetative, creamy and lightly malted; this all follows into the flavour profile as well a slightly more and sweet and floral aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is light, crisp, and carbonated; slightly dry bitter finish.

Certainly nothing wrong with it; safe IPA with nice bitter, grassy flavours.

330ml Can from Morrisons Supermarket (£1.50):
It started fairly well, if a little weak, but by the end it was quite a disappointing offering & a struggle to finish. Subtle pine & citrus to kicked things off with bread & biscuit malts following. There was some grassy flavours but things started to fade & the bitterness seemed harsh nearer the end. Sadly it's another poor session IPA; why so many are brewed is beyond me.
