L- Darker gold, 1/2cm white head, slowly receding to lacing.
S- Fruity, very, I could smell the fruit when I poured it 2 foot from my nose. Up close I get something of a combo of peach and orange.
T- Oh heavens, now I get the passion-fruit mentioned on the lable, that rather dominates for me.
M- Curious, perfumed passion-fruit coupled into a pretty heavily hopped/dry beer. Refreshing but perfumed, an unsual combo. Decent CO2 in the mouth.
O- I don't think passion-fruit is a natural partner with a 5.5% pale ale. I'm just back after 10 years away from the UK during which time the styles of beers on offer have completely changed: This is another example of me wondering just what demographic this brew has as a target market... hmm!

From a 330ml can.
L: Opaque, pale orange with a soapy, white head that leaves lots of lacing. Hazy colour is reminiscent of a wheat ale.
S: Juicy American hops. Lacks some punch.
T: Lots of tropical fruits plus a bitter, resinous edge and a dry, powdery finish. Really refreshing.
F: Starts light but finishes with a nicely balanced chewy mouthfeel. Slightly gassy.
O: A delightful, clean, refreshing new world pale ale. Extremely drinkable. The wheat is noticeable and very well done. Almost weissbier meets APA. Excellent.
