A firm favourite from our core range. Ellensberg is brewed using Best Pale, Crystal and Munich malts with Mosaic, Perle and Amarillo hops for a bright golden IPA that is packed full of perfumed citrus fruit aromas a juicy, balanced citrus bite palate and dry but refreshing finish.

March 2020: Cask pint at The Jugged Hare, Barbican. Copper colour. Malty and sweetish aroma. Sweet and malty flavour, too sweet really. Too little hops, definitely no IPA.

Can. Hazy gold. Thin wispy head.
Smells of oranges and lemons. Distant fudge,
Pithy flavour. Bitter finish.
Medium carbonation. Light body.
Straightforward old fashioned low ABV AIPA

Light and citrusy. On tap at Happy Face Pizza in London. I always appreciate a low ABV beer that the brewer can still pack with the hoppiness that many of us enjoy.

330ml Can from Asda, Enniskillen (£1.50):
Caramel amber & a tiny, hazy head that's frothy white head but very thin. It's a sharp, hoppy nose with pine hops & light citrus, herbal touches & floral notes too with some caramel to finish. It's a perfume taste with floral flavours, grassy hops & pine before sweet malts see things out. The body is medium & dry with a subtle tang at the end; it's an interesting beer but nothing special.

On pouring a smooth copper coloured beer with a fine white foam - the latter however soon disappeared. Splendid strong hoppy citrus aroma hits the sense of smell. Fine tasting full of citrus hops flavours. As to feel I get the title "Session IPA" a beer to quaff certainly and I shall have another. One strong criticism has to be made. This is yet another example of UK craft brewers jumping on the 'Indian Pale Ale' logo. It is not, it is not heavily hopped nor strong in ABv - the true characters of an IPA. Why not just market the beer as an honest Session Pale Ale!

Dark amber in colour, darker than I would have expected for a "lighter" ale. Good session IPA, nothing special just good. Could session this no bother.
