Bottle 523 of 600. Finally. Pours almost flat, thick, syrupy. Big whisky smell, sweet, warming, slightly fruity. Thick mouthfeel, warmingly boozy. Lots of barrel over a treacherously complex and intense beer. Slow sipper, extremely flavourful. Heavy.

Bottle, 2017 issue, at home. Pours a pale amber colour with some particles floating in it. Small white head. with short retention. Aroma's of sourish fruit, wood, vanilla, some booze. Retronasal it's sweetish, fudgey, alcoholic/boozy, wood. Flavour is fairly sweet with fruity tones. Alcohol feel is sharp, burning almost, but mellowing a bit after a while. Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Long finish with no new flavours.
