Bottled and bottle conditioned
deep dark brown, tan head, roasty coffee and chocolate aromas, sweet slight liquorice flavour with a medium body. Very nice and well balanced.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into a pint glass. Sainsburys Great British Beer Hunt 2013.
Pours a dark brown/black colour, inky looking with a small head.
Smells dark and rich.
Tastes well balanced, with rich bitter and burnt malts, and smooth dark chocolate flavours. Slight hoppy bitter finish.
Overall I love this beer.
