Poured a jet black hue with a one finger foamy tan head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured roasted malts and a touch of wood smoke.
The taste consisted of clean roasted barley with dry coffee and charcoal.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a subtle carbonation.
Overall a tasty and quaffable stout.
