1 cm head on a clear, golden pour. Aroma is a bit floral, a bit hot and hoppy. Malt-hop balance is pretty good. Hop flavors are in the sharper range;alcohol is readily apparent. I like this, but expect that the recipe/process will produce some improvements too.

On tap at OBBC. Had high hopes for this one, as most of OBBC's beers are pretty one-dimensional. This one, while not a home run, is definitely a step in the right direction. Pale straw pour with a pure white head. Aroma is quite dank, thinking Simcoe or Nelson. Flavor is bitter, grassy with a slight alcohol burn (the 9% abv is not hidden at all). Finish is similar.
I want nothing more than this brewery to get a huge craft beer reputation. Hope this is the start of more beers in a similar vein.
