Another of Long Island's nouveau craft brew movement of the last ten years, these guys have had a few decent offerings over the past few years. This IPA pours golden and brimming with mellow caramel malts and herbal and floral hops with a touch of citrus pine in the nose.

The taste is relatively balanced, with initial malts being overtaken by hops, only to finish clean and balanced with a piney aftertaste. Some tropical fruit notes and maybe a little too much carbonation. Not complex but still pretty good and easy to put down.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a hazy amber with an off white head.

Aroma is light citrusy with a honey malt sweetness.

Taste is remarkably balanced. Really good play between malt and hops.

Canned 11/21/17... Clear dark gold body leans into the amber end of the spectrum; produced a tall off-white head that left chunky lace down the glass... Brewed with only Simcoe hops, this beer presents a rather earthy character with undercurrents of soft, sweet fruit... Elements of pine and malt provide some backbone and a mild resinous sweetness... Feel is soft and smooth, with just a moderate bitterness (50 IBUs)... A very simple but classic "west coast" beer profile, and a very enjoyable beer...
