Served from tap in to shaker. Poured a deep dark brown with a one finger khaki colored head that subsided to a minimal amount very slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, blueberry, toasted malt, earth, and subtle dark chocolate. The flavor was of sweet malt, blueberry, fruit, toasted malt, earth, spice, and very subtle dark chocolate. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. This was a really interesting twist on the brown ale style with the addition of the blueberry. Gave it a little more of a sweet note than you would be used to. But the blueberry was definitely the star of the show on this one. Worth your time to at least sample this one if you find it on draft around you.

On tap at the brewery.
Just dark enough to be opaque. Brown at the edges. Weak head.
Blueberries are so subtle they wouldn't be noticed if i didn't know they were in there.
The finish has a moderately strong dose of dark roasted malts, but I'd prefer a bit more given the ABV.
A touch of smoke in the nose and finish.
