BA Pecan Porter - Pint on tap at the brewery.
Pecan Porter aged in a Buffalo Trace barrel.
Large, frothy light brown head over an opaque body with feel brown edges.
Very nice, sweet aroma with more barrel aging effects than anything else. The whisky barrel also dominates the flavor but the dark malts show as well. The flavor but not the aroma, improved with warming. Lightly sweet. Pecans emerge in the finish and aftertaste.
Near full body with well set, medium carbonation.
