This beer is simply delicious, so refreshing and drinkable. Jalapeño flavor is noticeable, but not overwhelming. Cucumber mellows it a bit. The finish more closely resembles a pale ale than a saison- but who's complaining...great work here

On tap at the brewpub.
Deep amber body with a thin head that soon reduced to a ring.
The aroma is a bit to vegetative, but this becomes an appealing cucumber base upon tasting. Peppery with some yeasty and herbal notes. Near medium body with medium+ carbonation.

Smells like cucumber and jalapeño and it works perfectly. It tastes like cucumber and jalapeño as well, but you don't get too much heat. As you drink the pint, the heat kicks in the back of the mouth, but it isn't overpowering. Excellent summer beer that would go well with some Mexican food!

Served from tap in to a snifter. Poured a hazy yellow-orange with a two finger off-white head that subsided to a half finger very slowly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, cucumber, spice, earth, and jalapeño. The flavor was of sweet malt, cucumber, jalapeño, earth, and spice. It had a light feel on the palate with low carbonation. Overall this was a decent brew. The cucumber was definitely the star of the show on this one giving the brew a more refreshing note rather than the heat from the jalapeño. This made it really quite easy to drink but only felt short on the carbonation aspect. It almost tasted flat on my particular glass and the same was experienced with a friend's glass as well. Just a heads up on that one as it might be better from a different venue. Worth trying though despite this fact. Tick.
