Poured from a can bought in upstate SC. Canned date of May 30 19. Poured into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass.
Look: hazy, caramel color. Nice 2-3 finger head. Good retention and lacing. Unfiltered pour out of the can.
Smell: slight citrus, strong hoppy and alcohol smell.
Taste: Yeast, malt, and alcohol come to the front, with subtle citrus and hoppy flavors on the backend, finishes with a bitter taste.
Feel: light mouth feel
Overall: very drinkable APA for the ABV content, subtle flavors throughout with a bitter back end taste.

Don’t mean to denigrate but I was surprised this is a damn good beer! Solid IPA. Hopped well, but not overwhelming. Nice grainy malt flavor. Got at deweys in destin and pairs well with fried seafood.

Had on tap at Craft Bar Grand Boulevard Destin FL June 2018
I typically hate the dark reddish ipas as they beckon to their English style forefathers that suck so badly. However this one looked terrible and tasted decent- like funky glue. At least it wasn’t the malty mess it appeared. Don’t seek out but wouldn’t spit out.

Over carbed and honestly just not very tastey. Keep giving this brewery chance after chance, and they keep failing to impress me much.
