500ml Bottle conditioned: from the brewery. Opened on 19 Jun 2013 and poured slowly into Gwaun Valley Brewery badged UK pint sleeve on my patio.
No sediment left the bottle, so I got a clear and bright amber bodied beer with an off-white thin covering on top.
Malts in the subtle nose: lightly baked white bread with mild mixed fruit jam on top.
The taste also has a malty lead: the finish is however a semi-bitter flavour with the hops asserting themselves after being second-fiddle for most of the tasting.
Not bad at all: the best I've had from this brewery so far. Body wise it was fine, suited the flavours and alcohol strength to a tee.
