Nitro Tap at shoe
Typical creamy rich 1 finger head upside down waterfall, very dark almost black slight brown light.
Nose typical creamy nitro, very faint Czech lager notes, very very little toasty pilsner malt, just all nitro.
Taste adds some mild lager notes, hint of a crisp pilsner, mild grainy toasty malt, touch of dark chocolate malt and grainy powered malt. Decent hop profile, little grassy herbal note, mild earthy, lighter overall bitterness. But most of all is the creamy nitro, most of the flavor profile is creamy nitro. Finish is little sticky and creamy from the nitro, tries to get crisp and clean but that's completely trashed by the nitro, little choc malt and hint grassy hop lingering.
Mouth is lighter bod, creamy nitro all over.
Overall friggen horrible! This seems like it would be a decent beer if it wasn't completely destroyed by nitro. This is just a disgrace! Why the hell would you put a beer like this on nitro?! It ruins any actual components of the base beer and it just turns to the same nitro beer that every other nitro beer is. Not sure if it was Tap's or Horseshoe's idea to put this on nitro but whoever decided this should be dragged out in the street and shot!
