Served on-cask in to a 16 oz nonic pint. Amber-copper colored body with a soft white, or slightly off-white head. Great lacing and retention throughout the drink. Grassy, piney hops, a touch of citrus, some caramel malt on the nose. Flavors follow suit. The hops shine but with a really nicely balanced malt backbone. Went through two of these fairly quickly.

Light amber color and reasonably clear. Pour from a cask, nevertheless it sports a lasting head. Very little lace.

Very English as a pale ale smell. This means there's a notable caramel to the malt nose. Light floral hop in the background.

Much more bitter on the tongue than the smell lets on. The malt features the aforementioned caramel, but there is little sweetness to this beer. As cask offering, this beer is naturally rich with low carbonation. At 7.0% abv, this might be considered an IPA, but the hop is muted enough to place it in the Pale Ale category.
