Sampled on tap at The Tap.
This pilsner poured a clear, bright, golden color with very white foam that settled but clinged to the glass in clumps. Very impressive clarity for an unfiltered beer. The smell had a light fruitiness and bready quality with a touch of leafy hops. The aroma improved as the beer warmed up. The taste was bready with a mild hop fruitiness and bitterness and an astringent, hoppy finish. There was a touch of floral hoppiness throughout together with a hint of sweetness. There was an ever so slight taste of vegetable in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth and crisp and dry with a very dry finish. The body was medium with moderate carbonation. The light hoppy flavor lingered on the palate. This was a very nice pilsner. Very easy to drink.

On tap @ The Tap.
Hold on. This is unfiltered? To look at its brilliant, bright, clear pale yellow color you'd think otherwise, but this is indeed unfiltered. Too boot, it's all crowned with an incredible white meringue, tightly laced head with an insane level of head retention and stick on the glass.
Aroma is lightly floral upfront, a touch fruity, bready and grassy with a pungent herbal that comes up from the back. A bit dank even. Lovely.
Mouthfeel is so damn smooth and creamy, but then it's broken up by a near scrubbing herbal hop bitterness that's a bit raw with woody notes. Nice citric burn in the throat here and there. The beer seems to crisp up in the middle. Grassy, some spicy pepper and floral. Nice malt backbone. Round maltiness with bready notes. Some Libby's Fruit Cup sweetness and Juicy Fruit Gum. Dry towards the finish.
There's a hell of a lot going on in this intricate brew. I really dig the appearance of this beer, its malty balance and the unusual usage of Polish Marynka hops ... they really lend the beer some flavors that aren't found all too often. This is a kick-ass Pils.
