This beer poured a clear tan/yellow body with a small white head.
The nose was a very subtle mix of spices with a nice malty smell.
The taste was basically along the same lines. Light to medium bodied. A nice fresh malt taste with a decent even bitterness throughout. Soft hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and possibly some other spices were hidden in back and subtly hinted at the fact it was a holiday ale.
Really not a whole lot to this beer. Sort of the macro beer drinkers holiday ale. I was actually surprised when the bartender sat it down in front of me. The color was so light. Not to bad though, just a very simple version of a spiced holiday ale.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
This ale poured a cloudy/turbid coppery amber color with white foam that settled quickly. The smell was sweet and tangy with aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste was malty and spiced (cinnamon and nutmeg and ginger) with very light sweetness (sugar) and tangy fruitiness. The mouthfeel was smooth and spiced and was moderately dry. The body was medium with moderate carbonation. The holiday spices lingered on the tongue. This was a good winter spiced ale. Very nice for a cold winter evening.
