To be fair, I am not that familiar with this style. But I will try anything once, so here goes. On tap at ACPH, it appeared as cloudy amber, but no head (?). Some cognac type notes in the aroma, but repeated sniffs yielded delayed horseblanket. There's some initial dryness, followed by some yeastiness. The horseblanket follows through in the tasting as well. I couldn't help noticing as the beer warmed that there appeared some mouthwatering citrus in the finish as well. Near the end of the glass, I picked up some additional woody notes in the finish as well. I need to brush up on this style!

Sampled on-tap at [Anam Cara] Publick House, where it was listed as "Dann the Man's Wild Amber Ale".
This beer poured a cloudy, amber color with white foam that settled. The smell was mildly fruity with a touch of wild yeast aromas. The taste was mildly tart mixed with maltiness. There was a wild flavor (yeast, bacteria?) with a hint of phenols and a touch of a lactic sourness. The mouthfeel was dry, smooth, and tart with medium body and very low carbonation feel. The finish and aftertaste was slightly tart with a mild hoppiness and bitterness. This was a nice Belgian style ale, with flavors reminiscent of De Ranke XX bitter. Nice job by "Dann the Man".
