Poured from a 16 oz can dated 03/05/18 into the pint glass
A - A touch of haze, hides active carbonation, golden color, huge white cap
S - Fruits and pine start things then a grassy vegetal element takes over,
T - The offering is a bit to sweet, strong crystal malt maybe, That vegetal piece is in the flavor as well, Pineapple, and some nice white pepper is in the mix
M - Solid in this aspect, excellent carbonation, dry finish
O - A big IIPA, with some room for improving. I will revisit

A- Tallboy into a chalice with a close to clear golden body and a two finger thick foamy white head. The cap has good retention and lacing forms with one large, thin sheet coating the top of the glass.
S- A good balance of the main hop groups with fruity, pine, floral and herbal notes all coming out. No specific note dominates but grapefruit, mango, tangerine and orange come to mind.
T- Didn't see it coming from the nose but immediately the beer comes off as a bit on the sweet side with some pale fruit yeasty esters joining in with the hops mentioned in the aroma. A perfumy hint comes in with the hops with zesty grapefruit, orange, floral, herbal, slightly dank and spicy tones.
MF- Light-medium bodied with a puffy and creamy texture. Silky but lacks a bit of carbonation and it ends bittersweet.
The aroma was nice but something from the ferment seems off with a perfumy and pale fruity flavor in the taste. Maybe just an unlucky can or batch based on the overall scores here.

Not much head, tastes good. Little fruity is it grapefruit? I don't know, smells citrusy i think. 9% whoa
