Sampled on-tap at the brewpub.
This stout poured black with creamy, brown foam that persisted for a long time. The smell was dark, roasted malts with hints of burnt malt flavors. The taste was roasted, dark malts with a slight scorched caramel flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with full body and light carbonation feel. This stout was dry overall but with a verly light hint of sweetness. This was a very nice stout, and worth the wait for the slow pour.

One pretty beer. Poured space deep black with a slight creamy head ressting its tired self on top of the beer. Had trouble digging out much from the aroma at first but after a bit I started to find some slight roastiness hovering around.
Flavor reminded of the black stuff on burnt molasses cookies. Lots of carbon but then quickly followed by bits of dark chocolate, coffee, and toffee. A consistent flavor throughout. Very rich and creamy. A very full body that had a nice feel on the palate. A nice solid stout ad I really liked the idea of putting it on the nitro-tap.
