Pours a clear, deep, red-amber color with light tan foam that settles, clinging to the glass in places. The smell was good: light roasted malt (dry), but mild. The taste is lightly roasty (Vienna?) malt, dry overall, with mild, but well balanced hops (26 IBU). There is a bit of dry caramel flavor that comes out in the finish. The mouthfeel is dry and malty with medium-full body and low carbonation feel. Modest hoppiness overall. This is a very nice, drinkable lager.

This vienna style lager is available now at The Tap in Haverhill. They describe this further as a Mexican Style Amber Lager.
Still on tap at the end of July and perhaps a hold over from Cinco de Mayo.
Deep Copper/Amber/Reddish in color.
Sweet Roasted Malt/Vanilla aroma
Very thin head. Almost no lacing.
This beer is all about the roasted malt and that is certainly the primary flavor. Somewhat sweet roasted malt flavor that finishes with what I describe as a slightly metallic aftertaste.
Medium body and fairly good drinkability. Although a little too malty sweet for my taste.
In my opinion, they make better beers.
