Had on tap at Union Ale House in Weymouth
Appearance: minimal head, cloudy, brownish/red in color, high carbonation
Smell: coffee grounds and dark fruit
Taste: coffee grounds, dark fruit, dark chocolate, bread, and brown sugar
Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, sweet with a bitter and sharp end, light bodied.
Drinkability: Average for the style. I do not get the complexity here that I am used to with other quads. There is also a harsh bitter aftertaste that is very present. Not bad to try once, but nothing I will look for again.
