Sampled ontap at the BBF.
A - Pours a nice deep brown/garnet with a thick head that leaves big, big side lacing.
S - Nice malty sweetness with rich dark fruits to back it up. There is a slight chocolate aroma burried deep in the nose though.
T - Ah, there it is. A light chocolate note that just teases the tongue. Mostly big, bold dark fruits (figs) and sweet almost sticky malts.
M - This is awesome. For such a big beer the ABV is hidden wonderfully. Its a bit too sticky for my liking, but the carbonation is there and it is good.
O - Overall this beer was really tasty. In fact it was my favourite Quad of the night, until I swung by the Draak table. Really hoping this makes its way to bottles.
