Thanks to Dan for this one.

A: Pours slightly hazy golden color with orange highlights. Small off-white head that recedes quickly with extremely thin and sporadic lacing.

S: Sweet with a little bit of citrus, extremely light though.

T: Sort of reminds me of tea actually. Slightly spicy with light fruit and a bit of a chalky flavor at the end.

M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O: Not really a fan, didn't like the tea flavors or the chalky aftertaste.

"When I haver. Well I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man that's haver'n next to you." - The Proclaimers, 500 Miles

Clear gold with a hearty new pillow case white head. Several sheets of lace with pointilist dots in-between. On tap at the Tap. Ha!

Aroma is crisp, light cereal grains. Not malty or fruity but grainy and inviting. Taste has some fruit but primarily clean grain. It's smooth enough for a cream ale but lacks any real crispness.

Maybe it was the experience that made this beer so appealing but on one of the first hot, Summery, long weekends of the year drinking this with the Sox game on after a short hike was pure bliss. How's that for a run on sentence.

Appearance: 12oz bottle poured into standard pint. Colour is a clear, yellowish-straw. Thin head. Visible carbonation. Barely any lacing.

Smell: Light, fruity, malty, and a tad yeasty. Weak.

Taste: Nice and balanced malt flavour with a little bit of hoppy bitterness. Faint sweetness to it as well. Finishes dry and with a little bite.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, moderate level of carbonation. Finishes ever so slightly sticky.

Overall: Light, crisp, clean, and refreshing. Nothing to write home about but its nice.

Mad ups to Brewhampshire on the trade.

Me, I'm a sucker for cream ales. Or, I'm a sucker for the concept of cream ales--an ale made with lager yeast that somehow, through pixie magic, takes on a creamy consistency and is like if frosting was beer. The only beer I've ever had that comes close to replicating that fantastic vision is Sun King's Cream. All others--well, the others are usually skunked all-malts that taste like a thicker, smoother version of crappy beer.

This, thank god, comes close to the vision, but it still doesn't *quite* get there. Pours nice and dark, smells like buttered cereal, and tastes like... a good, very mildly hopped all malt. The adjunct is there, but only mildly, in the very far back, and that serves to balance the sweet cereal of the barley (to tell the truth, this just might be a nuance in the barley--I really can't tell whether or not there's any corn in there).

Anyhow, I like a nice ale-ager when I come across one, and this is one. Crisp, well balanced, and nicely brewed, with a wonderfully smooth body.

Poured a bone white 2" head which dissipated to nothing. Clear Sienna yellow/brown in color. Smells rich and butterscotchy. Taste doesn't quite match the smell, more of an ordinary lager with a little hint of caramel. Really a very easy drinking ordinary beer which I could have any time in any quantity, and the lady of the house agrees.

Gold with some haze, topped by a rocky cap of white bubbles. A bit of spotty lace, sort of short-lived. Buttery aroma, burnt popcorn, grainy malt, slight fruitiness. Low bitterness, balanced towards malt sweetness. Light buttery flavour, a bit of fruity berry. Light bodied, moderate to low carbonation, decent texture. Alright, but the aroma really put me off.

Pours a light gold with a decent white fizzy head and some light lacing. Some floaties in this one.

Really hunted for scent, and got some very light malt and maybe fruit.

Interesting brew here. Light malt, but not super fruity. Some dry/crisp elements to this, with a medicinal bitterness in the background that actually works. Finishes pretty clean. I really like the strength of flavor here. The flavors aren't bold, but are very well defined (nothing watery or thin about it).

Medium-light bodied with decent carbonation. Has that creamy edge to it -- not great in this dept., but it is there.

A very very easy drinking beer, and you still feel like you are drinking something substantial. An odd style for sure. This is no Anderson Valley, but this brew and brewery hold their own. If you are seeking to try this style, this isn't a bad start.

A- Pours out a hazy, light yellow with a one finger head that has half-way decent retention. Some light, spotty lacing is left around the glass. A small cloud and good ring are left on top of the beer. Suds seem pretty sticky and stay on the glass for some time.

S- Smell has little to it. There are some light malts and light fruits (apple, pear) hop notes. The strength is pretty weak as well.

T- Taste is much of the same. Kind of tastes like white grape juice/pear/apple. The light malts are present in the background as well as a tiny bit of grassy hops. Not much going on here but a semi-fruit juice taste.

MF- Mouthfeel is pretty good. The body is a bit creamy with a moderate level of carbonation. The light fruit flavors stick to the palate for a bit.

DB- Drinkability is alright. The price of the beer is good but the taste and aroma are pretty bland. I could really bash this beer but what for a cream ale is supposed to be (and what people have told me about them), this really isn't too bad of an example. The smell needs some work but the taste isn't bad for the style. I could probably session this but probably won't have it again.

A: Golden colored body that pours with a white head that disappears nearly instantaneously leaving some very delicate lacing.

S: Some light malt smell but little else.

T: Sweet and malty with a hoppy finish. The hops are restrained in this beer.

M: Little carbonation in this beer leaves it with a very soft mouth feel.

D: This is a very drinkable beer. Low alcohol content, light and refreshing a great beer for a summer session.

Pored from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.

Poured 12 oz. bottle into Sam Adams pint glass.

A: Pours a clear gold with quickly-dissipating head that leaves almost no lacing.

S: Nothing overpowering with the smell; mostly sweet malts and a tinge of citrus.

T: Sweet malts primarily, but a nice late hint of hops finishes it off. Light and sweet.

M: Mouthfeel is on the lighter-side of medium. Very easy-drinking brew that doesn't leave any aftertaste.

D: At 4.5%ABV, and considering how thirst-quenching this one is, I could definitely session this on a hot summer's day. A good one to have around for when I don't feel like flexing the palate, so to speak.
