Liked this more than I thought I would. Nice dark amber color. It had a slightly grassy/fresh floral aroma. Nice malt base, with a hop finish that was slightly grapefuity in flavor. I thought there was more hops that were claimed in the beer menu at the bar (it said something along the lines that it was lightly hopped). Very pleasant and flavorful. pat

Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
BROWN ALE 13.5 degrees plato, 5% alcohol, 20 IBU
This ale poured a clear, very dark brown-red color with thin white foam. The smell was a modest floral hop and malt aroma. The taste was sweetish caramel malt and floral hops with some bitter hop flavors on the tail end. This was a rather hoppy brown ale (somewhat surprising with the stated 20 IBU). There were some citrus (grapefruit) hop flavors, too. The mouthfeel was smooth and fairly crisp. The body was medium with medium-low carbonation feel, and some hops in the aftertaste. The drinkability was very good. A very smooth brown ale, albeit a relatively hoppy one.
