Poured on-tap at The Tap, the beer was served in a nonic pint. Hazed, auburn-brown coloring with an off-white, clingy head. Nose of roast and nut sweetness, with hints of apple and berry. Flavors of heavy roast and rich apple sweetness, with a solid cinnamon spicing. Light palate, with a backbone of roasted caramel. Smooth and mid-bodied, with a spiced and sweet aftertaste. Finish is smooth and slightly spiced. Very solid beer.
