Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
STOUT 12 degrees plato, 4% alcohol, 36 IBU
This stout poured a very dark brown, almost black, color with hints of red at the edges if held to the light. There was a thin tan foam that coated the glass. The smell was coffee, dark malt, and chocolate, though not too strong. The taste was dominated by bitter coffee, but with chocolate and roasted malt, and hops in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry. The body was on the thin side of medium, and the carbonation feel was medium. This was a good, drinkable stout, though if tasted blind, I might have called it a porter.
