Aroma is peanut butter, mild chocolate and dark malts. The flavor is fruit/dark fruit, peanut butter, dark malts and a big acidic finish.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown nearly clack color with a one finger head of brown colored foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time to leave a tiny bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is super heavy of a nice roasted peanut butter smell that is backed by a lot of milk chocolate and caramel sweetness. Along with these aromas comes some other smells of confectioner’s sugar as well as a little bit of roast and char. Overall, it smells delicious, like a peanut butter cup in a glass.
Taste – The taste begins with a big showing of a dark and roasted malt flavor with a decent showing of a sweeter peanut butter taste. The sweetness in the flavor is mostly of molasses and brown sugar flavor upfront, but as the taste goes on notes of raisin and plum work their way in there as well. At the same time the peanut butter gets slightly stronger with more and more cocoa coming to the tongue as well. At the end, a touch of vanilla and crème join the flavor profile and leave on with a rather balanced, sweeter, but by no means overly sweet, and nice roasted chocolate peanut butter cup taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thicker and chewier with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. For the mix of chocolate and peanut butter tastes the feel is great and makes for a more dessert like sipping brew.
Overall – A very well crafted peanut butter stout. It has a great peanut flavor matched by just the right level of sweetness (not cloying at all) and a nice roasted and chocolate flavor to balance it all out. Dessert is served!!

903 Brewers Peanut Butter Stout 7.5 % ABV. This stout pours a dark mahogany brown almost appearing black with a half finger width khaki mocha colored head that dissipates rather quickly leaving some lacing on the glass but not much. The aroma is of roasted dark malts with rich roasted peanut butter also hints of caramel and cocoa along with a touch of coffee. The flavor is of dark roasted malts roasted peanut butter in a nutty flavor with hints of dark chocolate figs raisins and prunes add depth and sweetness to the flavor before finishing with a slight bitterness to counteract all the sweetness I would be curious as to what the IBU of this beer is. The mouthfeel is creamy without being overly thick and syrupy with the proper amount of carbonation. 7/10 This is a really good stout and probably the best peanut butter stout I’ve had so once again another winner.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque black in the glass with a thin brown head that dissipates to solid patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, peanut butter and hints of caramel and cocoa. Flavor follows with dark, moderately toasted malt, peanut butter and mild dark chocolate. Peanut butter, cocoa and light char finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A pleasant, if somewhat low key peanut butter stout. The malt has somewhat quiet, low char character, but a little light chocolate to make things interesting. The peanut butter is nicely balanced with the malt. Nothing really stands out, but this is a great tasting, solid stout with good peanut character.
