From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little imperial pours a deep muddled blackish brown with a moderate head
of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice lacing.
Nose of rum, brown sugars, cinnamon, brulee, and dark chocolate. Flavors surpass the
nose with dark chocolate, cream, coconut, cream, dark rum, subtle oak on the rear of the
taste, cinnamon, and moderate coffee. Mouth feel is full, slick, coating, warming, medium
light to light carbonation, and a sweet without being overly cloying rum laced finish
that is subtly dry.
Overall, a decent little dessert brew!
Cheers

12 ounce can, born 032825 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention is good and there's a lot of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like roasted malt, oak, coconut, spiced rum and cinnamon. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some brown sugar, coffee, nutmeg and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. All the flavors seem well balanced with no one flavor overpowering the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, it's a good overall brew. Worth a try if you come across some!

Look: It pours dark brown with a light brown head. Head retention is low.
Smell: There are rum and roast aromas up front. The coconut is the next oder with cinnamon, sugar, and nuts.
Taste: There is a combination of roast, rum, coconut, and cinnamon up front. It is a bit sugary. There are nutty flavors, with very low cherry, very low wood, and very low vanilla.
Feel: It has a medium full body with strong alcohol warming.
Overall, it is a very flavorful beer with the flavors being strong. The rum actually blends in quite well.

Oily black pour with a brown collar. Smell is as advertised: cinnamon laced chocolate with vanilla and coconut with subtle oak and huge rum booze, promising. Taste is similar but with an achilles heal: the rum booze is way too hot, accentuated by the fact that it is the finish note that just hangs on the palate. Before hand the cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, and chocolate is pleasant, though thinner than expected, oak bridges. Feel is hot, lighter, thinner, but the oak tannins are very fun and give the best texture. Not bad but fine tuning could take it to the next level
