12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left some thin lacing on the glass. It smelled strongly of coconut, vanilla, toffee and roasted malt. Big, toasted coconut flavor with roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and caramel.

Can from JCWattsrugger, thanks for the trade.
Inky black color with a thin off white head that dissipates instantly. Rich milk chocolate nose, huge coconut and faint alcohol notes. Very sweet, nice sipper.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a very dark brown color with a one finger head of brown colored foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a bit of spider-web lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is huge of a nice chocolate and roasted malt aroma mixed with a big showing of vanilla and coconut. At the same time there is a good lot of smoke and alcohol as well as nice aromas of caramel and molasses. Rounding it all out is a touch of boozy alcohol and a touch of char, producing a rather sweet and roasty warming smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet milk chocolate and roasty brown bread taste mixed with a decent hit of crème and vanilla. All throughout the taste there is a big sweetness of caramel and brown sugar as well as a coconut crème like flavor. The later coconut flavor grows slightly stronger in nature as the taste advances all while flavors of char and smoke as well as a bit of boozy alcohol comes to the tongue. With a little bit of a dirty earthiness (in a good way) and a slight loss in the sweetness (quite slight) one is left with a nice warming and roasty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and creamy with a carbonation level that is lower. Overall, the feel is fantastic for the roastiness and sweeter tastes of the brew, making for a nice slow sipper.
Overall – A rather nice big stout. Lots of flavor, sweet but not too sweet, and rather warming. Quite a good drinker overall.

This beer pours a simple black with a minimal head. The aroma is dominated by coconut, with a good hit of milk chocolate and vanilla. The flavor follows, coconut is dominant, but the vanilla more prominent here, and a sweet, unobtrusive chocolate stout background. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with gentle carbonation and a sticky finishl. Overall a rather unexciting beer, but one that delivers the flavors. I was looking for a simple hit of coconut and vanilla, and I got it, so I am relatively happy.
