Pours a pitch-black color with a thick brown head. Head retention is very good as is lacing. Definite chocolate in the aroma. There is a hint of vanilla and graham cracker. Chocolate still prevalent up front on the taste but stronger graham cracker and vanilla in the end. Very smooth. Medium to heavy bodied with moderate carbonation. Great mouthfeel for 7.5%. Mild bitterness in the end. Enjoyable beer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a one finger head of tan colored foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading over time to leave thick lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a milk chocolate like aroma, that has a good presence of roasted malt and a bit of coffee. Along with these smells comes a strong vanilla crème like aroma as well as some notes of a biscuit and graham cracker like smell. Overall, it does have an aroma reminiscent of a S’more.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet chocolate malt like taste that has a strong backing of a slightly grainy toasted bready flavor, some char, as well as a whole lot of sweetness of brown sugar and caramel. While lighter upfront, flavors of vanilla crème and milk grow stronger as the taste advances with a graham cracker taste growing stronger and stronger as well. The roastiness/char fades a little bit, but more sweetness comes to the tongue, with a taste that leaves one with a rather sweet, milk chocolate graham like flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and creamy with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. For the heavy chocolate and graham tastes the feel is rather nice and makes for a very robust sweet and slow sipper.
Overall – It’s a dessert brew for sure. Big and sweet with a rather nice flavor overall. An interesting brew for sure and well worth a try.
