16 oz can, poured into a tulip at ~40 degrees F.

L: Pours a slushy, opaque peach-pink, and forms a finger of head of the same color with good retention.

S; Sour blackberries, by and large, with some hints of sweetness and marshmallow.

T: That is not unlike what I imagine would happen if one tossed unripe blackberries, pineapple, and marshmallows into a blender and hit frappe for a solid five minutes.

F: Oddly light for a slushy, easily drinkable.

O: Interesting, if you're a fan of the slushy fruited kettle sour trend.

Pours a very thick, opaque dark red color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is slushy like. Has mainly a sour raspberry aroma with pineapple. Sour raspberry and pineapple on the taste as well. The pineapple comes out more on the end. Heavy bodied with mild carbonation. I have to say that I don't think that raspberry and pineapple make a good flavor combination.

edit on 6/27/21 - tried again, and the pineapple is dialed up, and the raspberry is dialed down. definitely better.

L: A dark wine and berry hue with a quarter inch of smoothie-looking foam and pulp combo. It really looks like a smoothie from top. This lasts forever and leaves a layer down the glass.

S: The pineapple, blackberry, and marshmallow come through in relative descending strengths.

T: Follows the nose with a pineapple upside down cake kind of aftertaste. The smell and taste of chopped and cooked pineapple is lasting.

F: A little dryness and tartness, but more on the sweet side. Good carbonation.

O: I enjoyed this one. It has a different approach and combination of flavors.

A Tavour treat. Pours a juicy red color with a foamy head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is fruit juices. Taste is berries and creamy marshmallow. Sweet and slightly tart. Good mouth feel.

I bought this beer because of the artwork. Who are you gonna call? The beer is 36 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour produced a massive three-fingered head with excellent retention. The hue of blackberries is the color of the head. The color of the beer is a beautiful purple color. The beer is exquisite.

The beer aromas are blackberries, pineapples, and marshmallows. They are dominant, and I cannot detect much else.

I taste blackberries, pineapple, marshmallows, toasted malt, and a touch of floral.

The mouthfeel of the beer is slightly acidic and fruity.

The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and fuller finish.

Holy shit, this beer is fantastic. Wait, is this a beer? Loads of fruit and excellent body. I wish I had more of these beers.

Berliner weisse ordered from Tavour. Poured into an imperial pint glass.

Look: Deep, dark red color, the color of blackberry. One inch dark red head with a top of tick rich puree.
Smell: Sour berry, vanilla with a hint of pineapple.
Taste: Somewhat acidic and sour/tart berry. Front end we get berry (blackberry with a hint of vanilla), mid taste trace pineapple in the hose. The after taste is of mild blackberry, pineapple and vanilla.
Feel: Full puree,. light carbonation, heavy berry acidic mouthfeel.

903 does this slushy Berliner thing very well. In a separate review we reviewed a different slushy and said it was more like a smoothie than a beer. The amount of puree is incredible and if that is your thing you will love this beer. We lived in Texas and this is one of the places we didn't try face to face, but since we are traveling to Dallas soon... well we will give it a go... love 903. They are creative and have amazing beer.

16oz can into a pint glass. Can proclaims "drink fresh" but doesn't have a canned on date. Couldn't find this on 903's website, but was on their facebook page as sold out about a month ago. No abv on the can. Tavour purchase.

Can proclaims "BlackBerry, pineapple & marshmallow smoothie style gose ale"

Looks interesting in the glass. Thick solid maroon burgundy color. Small pink tinged white head shrinks to a ring and covering leaving some nice lacing

Nice aromas of primarily pineapple with some BlackBerry notes.

Taste is initially strongly blackberry, but as it warms, the pineapple begins to dominate. Marshmallow is more of a feel than a taste. There is a light chocolate undertone

Mouth between medium and full, finish quite fruity, with a very faint metallic touch.

Overall, it's a tasty drink, if you like fruit beers. I'm not sure why the brewer calls this a gose, since there is no trace of sea salt or coriander. But as a drink, I liked it.
