Pour: pours orange with light effervescence. Looks like orange juice.
Smell: Smells of oranges with slight Berliner Weisse aroma.
Feel: Feels like a light creamy orange juice. Actually thickens on the pallet after swallow.
Taste: The oranges and up front with a very light sweetness. The sweetness is most prevalent in the middle. It finishes with a slight tartness that lingers into the aftertaste.
If you are a fan of dry champagne mimosas, then this beer is for you!

We were visiting family in the Dallas area and decided to take a drive up to Sherman to visit 903. The brewpub is in a shady industrial area and until you walk into the brewpub you might be thinking about turning your car around. We went in (we drove an hour so...) and the inside was Texas through and through. We have been ordering 903 beers from Tavour for several months and so we made the drive based on our experience with what we've had... Bren was excited for the trip for sure. The beer selection was pretty diverse and we decided to fly some beer back with us in our checked baggage (actually in our daughter's bag, don't tell anyone). We got this home, chilled it and poured into a 903 tulip we purchased at the brewpub.
Look: orange juice with a little pineapple, best way we can describe it. No head and no lacing.
Smell: sweet orange juice and marshmallow
Taste: sweet and light sour, tastes like a mimosa, cara cara orange with some marshmallow, no bitterness and no booze at all.
Feel: medium to full mouthfeel for a Berliner weisse. Most 903 slushy beers are WAY more full mouthfeel than this, because their slushy beers have so much fruit, but this one is much lighter and very refreshing. There is a very light tickle of carbonation that lingers, even as it warms.
Overall a good, refreshing and morning orange juice beer... some people say that dark coffee beers are good for breakfast, but this one you could pour instead of orange juice and your kids might not tell the difference (not that we would serve this to our kids, its too good for that).
Cheers everyone!

A: The beer is is dark yellow in color and looks like it could be a blend of pineapple and orange juice. It poured with no head whatsoever.
S: Moderate aromas of tangerines are present in the nose along with notes of marshmallow and hints of vanilla.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of marshmallows are a little stronger as are those of the vanilla.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The citrusy aromas and flavors of the cara cara orange definitely brighten up this beer and make it feel like you're on a winter vacation.
