Visited 903 and stopped by the tap house. Got this as part of a flight. Short pour flight in 8 ounce cup.
Look: dark, brown, almost black. Small less than 1/4 inch head and small head lacing that did not hang to the cup.
Smell: roast, biscuit, cinnamon and sugar. Smells like a toasty churro.
Taste: roast up front. Malty that follows with cinnamon, nice sweetness and no bitterness. Booze is hidden well.
Feel: medium body, light tickle of carbonation. Not syrupy or drying.
Overall this was a nice beer for the cold winter months. We are from the Portland oregon area but are visiting family in Dallas and made the drive to 903. Got a dark profile flight and had this one. Pretty beer, toasty and nice churro profile. Cheers!
