Ordered from Tavour. Chilled and exploded into an imperial pint glass... thanks for that btw... this is the second 903 that did that to me. Not sure what the deal is with their carbonation, but yeah, lost several ounces... and I am glad I poured in my kitchen and not over my laptop.
Look: four or five finger width head.... yes I am serious about the amount of head, and that the puree and carbonation don't break until we started sipping, makes it problematic trying to pour this thing. Once we got it poured and cleaned up, the head settled to a two finger size head with heavy puree lacing. The look is deep purple and blueberry-colored.
Smell: blueberry, marshmallow (hints of vanilla), notes of chocolate.
Taste: sour up front, blackberry sharp notes, with mild blueberry following in the middle, trailing chocolate and ending mallow/vanilla notes.
Feel: full mouthfeel, sour puree and tickles of mild carbonation.
Another slushy-type berlinerweisse from 903. We really do love their beer. They are very creative and this one is very close to their description, but the carbonation issue has to be fixed in order for this to be a tolerable beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
