Pours a marbled brown color with a distinct swirl of lighter brown making its way through a darker brown liquid. In the end it settles on a muddled, cloudy, murky dirty brown color. Two finger frothy head forms on the beer but quickly dissipates leaving absolutely no residual foam. Aroma is extremely sweet - yes I know you technically cant smell sweet, but let me tell you, this beer smells like its going to give you diabetes. There is chocolate, Irish cream, a touch of coffee and some caramelized brown sugar.
The taste on this is really unexpected - given the over the top aroma, I was expecting a very sweet stout, and it is, but what stands out right away is how hopped and bitter the underlying stout is. There are notes of roasted malts, bitter pine and earthy hops, along with sweet notes of vanilla, irish cream, a touch of alcohol, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Feel is thinner bodied, brightly carbonated. Semi-dry finish.
Overall its a very mediocre stout. It seems like it's unsure if its an old school hoppy American stout or a sweet pastry stout. In the end its not a very good version of either.

Appearance: Pours a deep mahogany, with a large, dense tan head, offering excellent ren\tention. Before a strong light, the body is a clear deep ruby in color, beguiling in its beauty. Thick and very finely-beaded lacing adorn the glass wall in an unbroken sheet.
Aroma: The aroma is spectacularly "over the top", with notes of coffee, bitter cocoa, brown sugar, sweet cream, whiskey and wood, with gracious presentation,
Taste: The taste opens with roasted malt and molasses, soon followed by bitter cocoa, wood, vanilla and Irish whiskey. The alcohol is slightly spicy and gently warming, but nothing would suggest an ABV of eleven percent, such is the gracious presentation. Later in the taste, notes of bitter cocoa, vanilla and wood dominate. At the last of the taste, there are some burnt malt notes to balance the sweetness. Lingering on is a note of quite bitter cocoa.
Mouth feel: Very full and soft, with a fullness that approaches milk, and delicate carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: Luck o' the Squatch is such a fitting example for St. Patrick's Day, embodying all the warmth and charm of Ireland. 903 Brewers have once again outdone themselves. If you have the chance to try this, don't miss it. Sláinte!
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Pours out a dark brown color with a light tan head that quickly thins out. The aroma is pleasant, filled with chocolate, figs and grapes; brown sugar and syrup make up the rest the the smelling experience. Sweet overall, smooth and gentle on all parts of the mouth, alcohol is subtle and tame. Mouth feel is on the lighter side, and give you a mild warm coating when you drink it.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep-brown color with a one finger head of brown colored foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a roasted malt smell mixed with a whole lot of sweet cream. At the same time there is a rather strong showing of a sweet milk chocolate and molasses smell as well as some notes of brown sugar. Along with a light nuttiness and a touch of char, a very inviting aroma is produced overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a big roasty and toasty malt flavor that is matched by quite a bit of a chocolate and brown sugar sweetness. With these sweeter tastes also comes some flavors of a nice Irish crème and a bit of milk. The cream, milk, and brown sugar all get stronger while some of the darkness fades a tad. That said, there is a touch of char that develops toward the end and a hint of a dark fruit flavor of cherry and raisin. With some of Irish crème booziness developing at the end and mixing with the increase in cream and milk flavors, one is left with a nice Irish crème brownie-like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather thick and super creamy with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side overall. For the dark and rich flavors of the brew and the big sweet and alcohol warming tastes, the feel is fantastic and makes for one very slow and enjoyable sipper.
Overall – A very rich and roasty stout with a nice shot of Irish crème and big, sweet brownie taste. Quite a nice warming dessert brew.
