Pours a guava/pineapple color with a beautiful, full head that leaves thick residue behind. The aroma matches the taste -- primarily guava with a lot of pineapple and a hint of coconut, though quite mild. Passionfruit makes an appearance inthe profile as well, though less so, in my tasting. Less sour as a slushy, this is a thick, hazy tropical fruit drink that is not afraid to pile on the fruit flavor.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy brownish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head left left a thick coating of bubbles down the sides of the glass, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of guava are present in the nose along with notes of passion fruit.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of pineapple and a slight amount of sourness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and very "slushy" on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't really that sour but has nice aromas and flavors of tropical fruits.

Ordered from Tavour, chilled, and poured into a hurricane.
Look: yellow/orange with a nice finger size head that dissipated quickly leaving a very small ring of light tan foam, and a small particulate of fruit purée on the glass as we drank
Smell: pineapple and passion fruit up front with coconut and some trailing guava
Taste: taste follows the smell, intense pineapple and passion fruit with guava and hints of coconut (really had to reach for the coconut, Bren couldn’t get it at all). Aftertaste is malty and wheat beer with trailing sour and acidic notes, ending in wheat malt. No bitter and no booze.
Feel: medium to full with sour and acidic notes that “pang the palate”, super light tickle of carbonation on the tongue with every sip, even as it warmed
Overall this is a good fruited sour. We are fans of the fruited 903 line. Being from the Pacific Northwest, finding good fruited beers are hard, since everyone around here are into the IPAs... we traveled to Texas a couple months ago and took a drive to Sherman to meet the Brewers. Super cool hole in the wall with good people making creative beer and good food. We really like 903 but this particular beer is weird with the intense up front passion fruit and pineapple, sour in the middle and trailing weird malty wheat aftertaste that really doesn’t match the fruit very well. Not a bad beer, just a bit weird.
Cheers everyone!
