L: Clear amber. White head vanishes immediately.
S: Sweet, peanut butter cereal
T: They nailed the peanut butter captain crunch flavor, but it’s a bit too sweet.
F: Thinner than expected, but not bad. Somehow feels both thin and creamy.
O: A cool novelty

Ordered from Tavour in 12 ounce cans, chilled, and poured into a pint glass.

Look: Amber colored, slightly hazy, no head and no lacing.
Smell: Peanut aroma up front along with big malt.
Taste: Exactly as described; peanut up front followed by smooth cream ale flavors.
Feel: light to medium body with no booze and no hops, and only a light tickle of carbonation.

Overall: This is a nice crushable cream ale that comes through exactly as described. Too bad we just drank our last one!

Cheers everyone!

Medium light carbonation with about an average body.
Aroma is grain/cereal, peanut butter, malt, cap'n crunch cereal.
Taste doesn't stray too far from aroma, mildly sweet with peanut butter and cereal being in the forefront.
Overall its an excellent novelty/dessert beer. Not too sweet but otherwise its literally cap'n crunch in a can. Sort of like reliving my childhood breakfast but for adults.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled like Captain Crunch cereal with a strong dose of peanut butter. Sweet, creamy peanut butter taste with minimal bitterness.

Description: A crème ale made with peanut butter cereal and sweet and roasted peanut butter

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very lightly hazed deep golden color with a one finger head of white puffy foam. The head fades upper fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is nuts! It smells just like peanut butter crunch cereal!!! There is a big sweet and roasty peanut and corn cereal like sweet smell mixed with a little bit of a toffee and a touch of crème.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet corn and bready taste mixed with a bit of caramel and a decent crème flavor. As expected, there is a sweeter powdered peanut butter taste mixed with a little nut and grain. The mix of tastes remains relatively constant, with just a little bit more grain and more roasted peanut butter, leaving one with a rather sweet peanutty and slightly corn bready crème taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and more creamy with a carbonation level that is rather low. For the tastes and style, the thicker body is good and makes for a flavorful crème sipper.
Overall – A very interesting brew. Not one I would frequent often, but it was fun to try, and it does make for an interesting dessert brew.
