Aroma is a complex mix of dark fruit/vinuos/boozy and coconut cream pie. The flavor is fruit/dark fruit, a hint of coffee, dark malts and an acidic/mildly sweet coconut/warming vinuos alcohol finish.

12 ounce can, canning date is smudged so I can't tell what it says. 13% ABV stated on label. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee, roasted malt, coconut, vanilla and some caramel. Taste is pretty close to the aroma, but there's also some dark bread, cream, earthy and chocolate flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit rich with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, surprised to see this at a local store earlier this week. Definitely worth trying, and recommended to those who like imperial coffee stouts!

From the 12 oz energy drink looking can in a snifter. This beefy monster p[ours a
muddled blackish brown with a nice head of light brown foam that settles to a thick
ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing and decent legs. Nose of coconut,
brulee, earthy malts, dark chocolate, and rich vanilla marshmallow cream. Flavors
follow with some exceptions. Dark chocolate fudge drenched in dark coffee, brulee,
char, and dark berry notes merry nicely with toasted coconut, vanilla, and marshmallow.
Mouth feel is full, coating, rich, lightly warming, light carbonation, and a sweet verging
on a cloying finish that just barely holds it together.
Overall, a solid desert brew from a new to us brewery we are more than enticed to
try their other offerings if we can get them!
Cheers

Dark brown body, light tan head. Toasted coconut, light black coffee, milk chocolate, lactose and a slight bit of chocolate fudge. Medium bodied, good carbonation, soft and creamy, a touch of coconut and oak vanillin sweetness on the backend. Fun drinker.

Tar black body; respectable head for a high ABV beer - thin, somewhat creamy, khaki colored. Rich and sweet smell; coconut, cocoa, and caramel; coffee. Heavy tastes; milk chocolate; vanilla and coconut; very boozy, almost medicinal; raw oak. Heavy body; rich and oily; heavy residual sugars; alcohol warmth cuts through the sweetness.
I generally love this beer yet the one major flaw is the somewhat medicinal-like character in the taste. It's not overpowering, but it makes me think of mouthwash. Regardless, it is a fine looking, excellent feeling beer, rich and complex overall.
Poured at 60 F; no canning data noted on the label or can.

Oh my! Pours dark, golden brown with a moderate head that becomes wonderous foamy goodness. Aroma is roasted malt, oak and chocolate notes. The taste? Heavenly. There is a smoothness here some beers struggle to reach. Deep, rich profiles of boozy chocolate, sweet oakiness and buttery smooth vanilla and caramel coffee. Savor each moment. Coconut seems muted to me. However, this is a sipping beer that will calmly allow the week's transgressions to fade away blissfully. Pass this by at your own souls' peril.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a pitch-black color with a one finger head of brown thick foam. The head fades rather quickly, leaving a bit of foamy island lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a roasted malt and rich milk chocolate smell mixed with a big showing brown sugar and coconut. Along with these aromas comes notes of crème and vanilla as well as a bit of coffee. For a coffee brew the aroma is light, but does add a nice compliment to the milk chocolate and vanilla. Rounding out the aroma are notes of caramel and a bit of oak and char. Overall, the aroma is very nice, producing a roasted milk chocolate coconut, chocolate coconut crème smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a big sweet milk chocolate and roasted malt flavor with a whole lot of brown sugar, molasses, and some vanilla crème. At the same time there is a bit of char and some coffee flavors, that upfront are light, but which grow stronger and stronger as the taste moves forward. At the same time notes of dark fruits of cherry, raisin and plum all develop to a light level, and are accompanied by some flavors of brown bread. All the while a coconut flavor develops more and more as well, with a bit of a loss of some of the molasses flavors. Toward the end a nice warming booze, some leather, and a touch of oak come to the tongue, and with the increase in coconut, chocolate, and the added coffee/char, one is left with a sweet, lightly bittered, and very rich milk chocolate coconut taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker side with a carbonation that is average. Overall, the feel is good, but a thicker and creamier body may have been slightly better for accentuating the big, rich, dessert like flavors of the brew.
Overall – A nice big rich and sweet chocolate coconut brew. Very enjoyable! Dessert in a glass!
