So yes, there is glitter in this - enough that this incredibly thick, opaque, sludgy, chunky, and ugly AF beer - sparkles and shimmers in the light. Other than the sparkling glitter, the beer is a dark purplish burgundy color. Completely opaque and very thick. The beer legitimately looks like a fruit smoothie - there are chunks and pieces of fruit everywhere. A thin purple head forms on the beer but quickly dissipates leaving just a residual head on the beer.
Aroma has notes of blueberry, generic berry like notes, with a slight sourness and hints of vanilla. There is an odd sour berry note that I can't quite describe - almost blue raspberry like? Its interesting.
The taste largely follows the nose with notes of dark berries, artificial vanilla, vanilla ice cream, with a slight alcohol burn to it. Its sweet, fruity and creamy, but lacking a certain depth of flavors. The fruit is kind of on the bland side. It lacks the robustness and brightness better examples of the style offer.
Feel is, for lack of a better term, chunky. Very thick, full bodied, and filling. Moderate carbonation.
Overall its a mediocre example of the style.
