Aroma is coffee and big coconut. The flavor is dark malts, fruit and a mounds bar/chocolate/acidic finish.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown, nearly black color, with a small head of tan colored foam. The head has a good level of retention, leaving but a trace of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a coffee and chocolate aroma mixed with some coconut and crème smells. Along with these aromas comes notes of char and dark cocoa as well as some leather and smoke. A little bit of almond and toast, as well as a touch of dark fruit are there as well, creating a rather roasty and sweet aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter cocoa and coffee flavor that has a molasses and caramel compliment. Right from the start there is a somewhat creamy taste, combining with the coffee and chocolate to create a latte like flavor. While light upfront, the coconut, smoke and char that were in the nose develop on the tongue, adding more roastiness and creaminess. The coconut tastes fresh, like unsweetened raw coconut mixed with a bit of coconut water. Toward the end the char smoke, roast, and some leather get stronger, mixing with the sweet to produce a rather dark coffee and fresh coconut coated with chocolate taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is quite thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is low. For the rich coffee and dessert like flavors of the brew the feel is good and makes for a nice slow sipper.
Overall – A rather nice stout. Big and rich on the coconut and the dark roasty tastes. Overall, a fun one to try.
