12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson, SC ($2.59).
I was led to try this cream ale by curiosity and some hope that this would be enjoyable rather than undrinkable, after all I do usually like banana pudding. The aroma is enticing while the flavor is good but neither as appealing as the aroma nor as evocative of banana pudding. Sweeter and more full bodied than typical cream ale.
Appearance. Murky pale yellow body with a short-lived off-white head.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy orange-yellow-amber color with a small head of fizzy white foam. The head fades super-fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The smell is decadent. It is super strong of a banana pudding aroma mixed with a huge showing of vanilla wafer cookies and a milky creaminess. Along with those smells comes a rather strong showing of an almost granola like aroma and a touch of lucky charms cereal. Overall super good and sweet smelling.
Taste – The taste begins with a very sweet creamy banana flavor that is matched by some cereal graininess (again think the lucky charm oat cereal pieces). At the same time there is a rather strong milk, whipped crème, and honey flavor matched by quite a bit of vanilla. As the taste advances the sweeter grows even more intense with more pudding like flavors coming to the tongue. All the while a touch of hay and alcohol develop, blending in a the end and leaving one with a spiked banana pudding parfait like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel -The body of the brew is thicker and more creamy with a carbonation level that is lower. For the pudding flavor profile the feel is great giving the brew a dessert like mouthfeel.
Overall – A rather nice, very sweet, but approachable dessert brew. A nice dessert to have from time to time.
