seems to be another cookie inspired beer in the same vein as Haystack Cookie. Good foam got a full inch plus that settles down to a nice little ring. Smell is very sweet and inviting cookie crust, vanilla, and a touch of almond butter plus I get very little ABV twang in the nose. Hope it transitions well to the taste. Typical twang of earthy hops and alcohol esters meet a overall sweet body of milk sugars and cookie crust. Its actually interesting keeping that 903 burn at bay as I sip my glass. The beer is more medium bodied than heavy this time with no cloying burn I must say its much better than the Haystack Cookie. Not bad but these beers have been really hit or miss.

 

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of almond, toffee, caramel and some sweet chocolate. Great almond taste with some nice sweetness. Good chocolate and toffee flavors.
