Aroma is huge peanut butter and chocolate. The flavor is peanuts/peanut butter, chocolate, malts and a slightly earthy/, small hint of sour/salt/creamy finish.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of peanut butter, chocolate and some creaminess. Sweet peanut butter with a touch of chocolate. Kinda like a rice crispy.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear deep golden-amber color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a good amount of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a peanut butter smell mixed with some rice, biscuit, and grain aromas. Along with these smells comes notes of vanilla and marshmallow crème as well as some aromas of milk chocolate and caramel. With a little bit of a butter crème and toffee aroma as well, a very dessert like peanut butter rice crispy treat like aroma invites one forward for a taste.
Taste – The taste starts out with a sweet caramel and crème ale flavor with lots of vanilla and a big showing of sweet peanut butter. At the same time there is a bit of maltiness of a biscuit and doughy nature mated with a touch of grain. Some light rice is present upfront as well, but this flavor fades rather rapidly from the taste profile. In contrast, there is only a very light chocolate flavor upfront, but this flavor gets stronger as the taste advances (albeit never too intense). A little bit marshmallow comes along for the ride and with an increase in the peanut butter at the very end, one is left with a rather sweet peanut butter crème taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average in fizz. Overall, the feel is pretty good, although I may have liked a touch more creaminess to match the pb better.
Overall – A rather sweet peanut buttery cream ale. Definitely fun to try, although a little too sweet for my palate.
